Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Last Updated: January 1, 2026
This page explains what information AIGadgeTech.com collects when you visit, why it's collected, and the choices you have. We've kept it plain-English on purpose - no jargon walls.
📋 The Short Version
- We don't ask you to create an account or hand over personal details to read articles.
- We use Google AdSense (ads), Google Analytics (traffic stats), and affiliate links (Amazon and others).
- These third parties use cookies to do their job. You can turn them off in your browser.
- We don't sell your data. We don't have a list to sell.
- If you contact us by email, we'll use that email to reply - nothing more.
1. Who We Are
AIGadgeTech.com is a tech review and buying guide site covering smartwatches, gadgets, AI tools, and consumer electronics. The site is hosted on Blogger (a Google service). We are reachable via the contact methods listed at the bottom of this page.
2. What We Collect (and What We Don't)
We do not collect:
- Your name, address, phone number, or payment details
- Account passwords (the site has no login)
- Information you haven't given us directly
Information collected automatically when you visit:
Like most websites, our hosting platform (Blogger) and analytics tools automatically receive standard technical data:
- IP address (used to estimate general location - city/country level)
- Browser type and version (e.g., Chrome, Safari)
- Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop) and operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, and the link or search that brought you here
- Date and time of your visit
This data is aggregated and used to understand what content is useful and to keep the site working.
Information you give us directly:
If you email us, leave a comment, or fill in a form, we receive whatever you choose to share - typically your name (or display name) and your message.
3. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files saved in your browser. We use them for three things:
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Set By |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keep the site working (page loading, navigation) | Blogger / Google |
| Analytics | Count visitors, measure popular pages, understand traffic sources | Google Analytics |
| Advertising | Show relevant ads and measure ad performance | Google AdSense, partner ad networks |
You can control cookies: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in the settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some sites display, but AIGadgeTech.com will still work fine for reading articles.
4. Google AdSense & Advertising
We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites on the web.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to AIGadgeTech.com or other websites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendor cookies for personalized ads at aboutads.info or Your Online Choices (EU).
For more detail on how Google handles data from its services, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
5. Affiliate Links
Many of our articles include affiliate links to retailers like Amazon. If you click an affiliate link and buy something, we may earn a small commission - at no extra cost to you. This helps fund our testing and keeps the site running.
- Affiliate links never change our reviews or rankings. If a product is bad, we say so.
- The retailer (not us) handles your purchase, your payment details, and your shipping information.
- We never see your credit card, address, or order details.
6. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit, what pages they view, and what other sites they used prior to coming here. We use this data only in aggregate - to improve content, not to identify individual readers.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking on all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
7. Comments & Embedded Content
If you leave a comment, your display name and message become public on the relevant article. Don't share personal information you don't want public.
Some articles embed content from YouTube, X (Twitter), or other platforms. When you interact with this embedded content, those platforms may collect data as if you visited them directly. Their privacy policies apply to that interaction:
- Google / YouTube Privacy Policy
- X (Twitter) Privacy Policy
- Unsplash Privacy Policy (for embedded images)
8. Children's Privacy
AIGadgeTech.com is written for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your data:
- EU / UK (GDPR): Right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for cookies.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): Right to know what data is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Other regions: Similar rights may apply under your local law.
To exercise any of these rights, email us using the contact below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
10. Data Security
Our site is hosted on Blogger, which uses HTTPS encryption for all traffic. We don't store any reader data on our own servers because we don't run our own servers - everything goes through Google's infrastructure. While no system is 100% secure, the data handling here is as secure as Google's standard protections allow.
11. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top. For significant changes (new data uses, new third parties), we'll add a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy, your data, or anything else? Reach us through the Contact page on AIGadgeTech.com.
Plain English Summary: Read articles freely. Google ads and Google Analytics use cookies - you can turn them off. Affiliate links earn us a small commission at no cost to you. We don't sell your data because we don't have any worth selling. Email us if anything here is unclear.
